The truth hurts sometimes, but it can make us better if we listen. While your feelings may hurt, trust me, racism hurts us much more than you’ll ever know. So I really appreciate you understanding the message. It needs to stated early and often. Decentering Whiteness is a matter of life and death for us. It’s a matter of public health to me.
