Yup — all that! Rewarding bad behavior is not my thing. I can forgive if there is a change in behavior. I don’t want tears, laying out on the floor and false promise. Show me — and that’s what many men fail to do. The move on to the next thing to redeem themselves and stroke their bruised egos — but those things don’t deal with the trauma they cause. It’s bad enough Whiteness gives them second chances and passes to redeem themselves, but add our unconditional forgiveness, they are really “winning at life.”
